Informant #2073: "Sports" is sort of confusing. I don't feel like white athletes deserve affirmative action to get into the NBA or anything, but there are still country clubs and entire sports that are almost exclusive white because of the privilege and money it takes to have the opportunity to play them. |
Informant #2083: Affirmative action is about inclusion, not exclusion. It is not synonymous with reverse racism as some have come to naively believe. And truthfully, I don't understand why some Whites and naive Blacks are against Affirmative action, but have no problem with WHITE PRIVILEGE! |
Informant #2136: money |
Informant #2391: Affirmative Action is never appropriate. |
Informant #2456: Affimative action is appropriate in any area where any interested/qualified group of people is underrepresented. |
Informant #2727: Affirmative action is unfortunately needed in most factors in our life where there is even the slightest chance that discrimination will occur. |
Informant #2800: Higher Education should have a system that ensures admissions policies allow equitable admission. |
Informant #2975: I believe that affirmative action is appropriate for jobs and education for QUALIFIED persons. |
Informant #3067: housing |
Informant #222078: Almost everything needs to be changed to create equal oppurtunity |
