Survey Statistics: Child Psychology Survey (Respondent 159418)

My New Subsection

Do you believe you had a good childhood? Please explain

Yes, I had two parents that didnt divorce and tried to give me everything I ever needed.

What did your parent(s) do with you for family time?

We would go out to the park and pretty much do anything and everything outdoors.

Did your parent(s) make it a point to show and tell you that they loved you?

My mom always did, but my dad didn't start telling me and showing me until I got older.

As a child when you did something wrong, what kind of punishment (if any) did you get?

The only punishment my parents used was grounding me. I wasn't allowed to go outside and play, no video games, and no tv.

Do you believe you will raise your children the same way you were raised? Why or why not?

No, because I disagree with some of the ways they raised me.

Do you believe that the way a child is raised determines the person they become?

Yes I do, we learn by example.

Do you believe you grew up in a good family environment? Why or why not?

Yes, because we always were together and made sure we made time to spend together. We always ate dinner together, every night

Did your home environment positively or negatively affect your growing up? Please explain

I would have to say both, because I knew I had my family to fall back on but sometimes I took advantage of that.

What do you wish, if anything, was different about your childhood?

I wish that my dad didn't have to work so much, and I wish he was younger.

Do you really believe there is such a thing as a "perfect childhood"?

No, it is imposible for anything to be perfect. Since everything is different to everyone there isn't even a way to define perfect.
