Do you believe you had a good childhood? Please explain

Yes...We got what we wanted and needed, we had family time and vacations and my parents have always supported anything I wanted to do...

What did your parent(s) do with you for family time?

We took walks, rode bikes, went to dinner, went on vacations, did crafts, played games...

Did your parent(s) make it a point to show and tell you that they loved you?

Yes always...

As a child when you did something wrong, what kind of punishment (if any) did you get?

When I was smaller it would be to stand in the corner with my hands behind my back...As I got older it was to go to my room and think about what I did and then to either right or verbally apologize for whatever I did wrong...

Do you believe you will raise your children the same way you were raised? Why or why not?

Yes...Because it worked for me and my siblings so it should work for my children too...

Do you believe that the way a child is raised determines the person they become?

I believe that is part of it...You also have to let your child have an opinion...

Do you believe you grew up in a good family environment? Why or why not?

I dont know if i would say that...I kinda wish my dad was home more, but my mom did a great job raising us and when my dad was home it was wonderful...(He was in the Army)...

Did your home environment positively or negatively affect your growing up? Please explain

Positively, being an Army brat I have seen and experienced more things than most people my age...My home environment was always good, we always had a house, food, and what we needed...What more can you ask for...

What do you wish, if anything, was different about your childhood?

I wish my dad was home more...That's all...But he was in the Army and I know understand that whole concept...

Do you really believe there is such a thing as a "perfect childhood"?

I'm not sure these days...
