The contracts 4 rebuilding Iraq have already been issued to republican companies, the american economy has no natural raw resources so needs a war to justify spending on arms, oil, the US placed dictator wasnt cooperating so needed to put in a new one etc on a side point - check out the cost of one night of bombing of iraq versus the amout of aid that has gone into the country since the war ended.
