Informant #131473: I believe that people have the right to protect what is theres, inculding religion, aslong as it doesn't emroach upon other people's happines. |
Informant #131485: Personally I don't feel I have an internal spiritual struggle to defend my faith or submit to God's will |
Informant #131489: Religion preaches peace, this is the opposite. |
Informant #131502: this is something with there religion that seems a little wack. this is one reason i stay out of religion. once again only god can bring the rath. when humans do it somany things go wrong. |
Informant #131506: I don't think it's right to argue or fight to defend your religion. |
Informant #131512: I don't understand. |
Informant #131538: I agree you must defend your faith, but it does not mean you have to do it with violence. |
Informant #131551: I do not agree with the "Jihad" aspect of Islamic faith, nor do I agree with any aspect of the Islamic faith. I believe that the entire Islamic faith is a radical terrorist movement whose purpose is the convert and/or kill anyone who disagrees with their beliefs and/or refuses to become a part of it. In my opinion, the Islamic faith is one of the most dangerous things facing the world, and America and the entire notion of Democracy in particular, today. |
Informant #131628: You must defend what you believe if you don't it will no longer be a belief. |
Informant #131772: The phrase "unjustified attack" has been interpreted to inlcude editorial page cartoons chiding muslims (Danish newspaper cartoons), authors whose books that don't agree with Islam (Salman Rushdie), and other expressions of speech that don't comport with Islam such as the film by Dutch film director Van Gogh (Van Gogh was assassinated). Mean while Islam schools teach hatred and violence towards Christians and Jews. The faith of Islam provides for and accomodates religous persecution and futhermore promulgates religous intolerance. |
Informant #131804: The Islamic faith is one of my least favorite faiths. therefore I pay little attention to most aspects of that faith. |
Informant #131816: I don't know if you are correct, no reason to think that you are wrong, but in 2008 the only benificial thing for me to do is to listen and learn. I wish I had not checked one of the boxes. |
Informant #131912: It opens the door to rationalization of any crime against non-Islamic believers. |
Informant #131970: No. I really do not have a good understanding of the Islamic faith and do not feel competent to answer. |
Informant #132025: The majority if practicing Muslims, according to my knowledge, find Jihad to be a spiritual struggle rather than as a justification for violence and terror. I think that it is important that each individual undergoes spiritual searching. |
Informant #134600: Going after someone for differing on religious affiliation is not a good way to get someone to understand your point of view. |
