Informant #1751: Acts done in the name of femenims can be thought to have helped minority males. But overall the focus was women.

Informant #1758: Men are trying so hard to have their own distinct space that now TNT has TV for Men, which is completely unnecessary and insulting. The reason women have the Oxygen channel is because we feel that most TV is geared to men. TV is very sexually-focused and men tend to love that. Women like porn and gratuitous nudity, but not nearly as much as men. There is too much sex and violence (male-oriented stuff) on TV already.

Informant #1761: As women's roles have changed, so have men's roles. Men have much more opportunities to share in childraising, housework and other traditionally gendered work

Informant #1775: I would agree, but not strongly agree. Unfortunately, some people still view certain jobs as female oriented, e.g. Nurses, Day Care Workers, HouseCleaners and Stay-At-Home Parents.

Informant #1784: And yes it has hurt some mens job opportunities for advancement. I've been affected inmany area to better myself thatI almost have an attitude towards women(in this answer)

Informant #1950: I think it has reduced, but it's only because in some situations a man is not as qualified and won't get the job, whereas in the past he would've.

Informant #2124: Professions that were viewed as womens work has become open to men as a result of feminist activity.

Informant #2157: i've never thought about that before.

Informant #2242: Their opporunites seem much the same.

Informant #2247: Men, specifically white men don't need any more opportunities.

Informant #2271: I feel that, like with white-power organizations, NAAWP, reverse-discrimination lawsuits, feminism has backfired to the degree that it has, along with empowering women, embittered men towards supporters of feminism. Does that make sense?

Informant #2425: it was never an issue for them not to have any oppurtunities.

Informant #2484: It has increased it slightly, not not enough to say "agree".

Informant #2508: It allowed men to release some of the burden of being the sole provider of the household, and ( if he is still with his family) it gave him more quality time with his kids

Informant #2638: not only can women do jobs that were previously thought to be "male oriented", but also vice versa

Informant #2671: IT's a (white) mans world.

Informant #29654: same as #6

Informant #71745: It has in the sence of a male being able to be a stay at home father or some thing along those lines and it be socialy ok

Informant #101749: I don't think it's changed men's opportunities

Informant #224210: Men now have the opportunity to be stay at home dads without being completely shunned by society
