Informant #1758: I have noticed that many Mexican, Indian, and Black men leer at me way more often than White men do. White men can be pigs, but they are much more subtle about it. |
Informant #1761: I do not think any group is inferior. In this society one has to conciously fight against subscribing to racist ideology and reject stereotype messages. I don't want to be a racist, but think it is impossible not to be one in our society. One must always fight against it. |
Informant #1774: My survey went to #7 and then to #10. Where are questions #8 & #9? |
Informant #2084: Caucasians. |
Informant #2088: i'm prejudice not racist |
Informant #2090: white |
Informant #2130: Eurpoean/Caucasian |
Informant #2242: Everyone is a racist. Everytime someone sees someone of a different race or ethnic group you automatically make assumptions. You may not voice them but they are there. If a Black woman is attacked by a Hispanic man, she will generalize Hispanic men as aggressive. Humans realize that all people are inherently different but yet we are able to form sterotypes and think nothing of it. Every last ethnic group in the US has negative stereotypes except White people. This is designed so that Whites feel justified in their hate and in the process all the other ethnic groups can hate each other instead of realizing that Whites are conquering and destroying us. Racism is okay as long as it doesn't prevade and run amock unchecked in society. Race is always going to be here so racism won't go away until everyone is a nice shade of neutral tan. Even then I'm sure that society problems will stem from class distinctions. |
Informant #2328: My parents sometimes make derogatory comments towards Asians and Latinos. |
Informant #2345: I believe we all harbor racist attitudes and stereotypes. These don't necessarily make us racist but we must be aware of these attitudes within us and work to overcome them. |
Informant #2368: I trust no white people. |
Informant #2508: I admit that I can be a rascist sometimes against white poeople. Talking about them is accepted in my household. My family has had many negative expereinces regarding white people. I know sometimes I place hurtful sterotypes on white people and if the shoe was on the other foot I would be mad but its more accepted for other culters to say bad things about white people , as long as you are not saying stuff to thier face or hurting them it is not such a big deal. ( that made me sound really really bad hehe) |
Informant #27166: blacks, mexicans, anyone but white |
Informant #77892: Only Bush |
Informant #101749: I don't consider myself racist, but everybody has their own prejudices. I try to be open minded, but I do tend to think that most blacks are bitter or angry, and I have less sympathy for blacks than I do for other racial groups. I think blacks are too quick to blame racism for their problems and focus too much on racism to allow themselves to move forward. |
Informant #224210: I don't have negative feelings towards a particular race in general...I do, however, hold stereotypes true when I see a particular racial group acting a certain way |
Informant #1307149: Niggers, gooks muslims |
